  3. It's not necessarily a problem - the definition of 'legally blind' includes
    people with sight, albeit limited. I think for USA it is 20/200 (ie what you
    should be able to see at 200m you can only see at 20m). If the appropriate
    testing and training were undertaken, and appropriate guidelines adhered to,
    I would see this as less of a risk that a lot of other driving groups...

    It's said to be quite possible to drive in the UK while being
    registered blind. I know a number of visually impaired people who
    have driving licenses. It all depends on the particular visual
    problem (me, I'm only 2/3 blind in one eye, so I'm OK)
