  1. Has anyone ridden one of these? How accurate are they in measuring
    speed and watts? I got on one at Home Depot Center and was able to to
    get it up to 40mph way easier than I could have done on a real bike.
    I'd love to get one but if it's no more accurate than a LifeCycle
    whats the point of spending $1800? The flywheel felt smooth though.

    You are getting a high quality spin bike with a fully functional PT on it - which is about as accurate as you are gonna need. The flywheel is heavy so will spin up easily - but the power reading will be spot on.

    We use these bikes for all sorts of power based training and I love them.

    No - they use a friction brake like other spin bikes.

    1. Wear and tear on your bike, tyres etc
    2. Heavy flywheel and smooth action makes workouts more enjoyable
    :eek:
