Thanks to those who offered guidance on web site publishing. I've now got
the beginnings of a site at www.mypyrenees.com
I emphasise it's still very much under construction but if any one has any
comments I would be interested to hear them

No expert myself on website construction, but here are a couple of
observations:
You have two First impression links on the side navigation bar. The second
First impression link goes to the second page of the Firts impression page.
You have a NEXT button on the first page so no need for the second First
impression sidebar link.
More images on GAL001 would make it feel more like a Gallery. Maybe a
better title for the gallery too, and in full.
The ENTER button at the bottom of the page could be removed, and ENTER type
at the bottom of the photo (uner the existing text.) The photo links to the
same page as the ENTER button.
As you indicate, still a long way to go. But, its a start, which is always
the first hurdle to get over.
Cheers

Another rollover colour would be better than green, which blends into
yellow.

Seems to be extremely under construction at the moment, just a banner
ad and some javascript!
