Le Tour 2007 to roll out of London

I intend to be there.
Great to see the TDF coming over to our side of the world.

How many stages do they intend to have in Britain, does anyone know?
When the TDF came to Ireland we had the prologue (Dublin City), Stage 1
Dublin-Wicklow, Stage 2 Waterford-Cork.

Very emotional seeing the TDF on the roads that one cycled when I was younger - especially in my home town of Dublin.

Two stages.... the prologue then one stage to the border......

i'll be there for sure.

I work about 10 minutes away from the Channel Tunnel and my job (for the local council) requires me to be a bilingual French speaker. As that very same council will be helping to oversee stage 2 to the Channel Tunnel, I think it's time to blag my way into a position of being very helpful...

I will be there, and in Strassbourg this year...

I am so jealous. The chances of a North American start to the tdf aren't worthy of discussion. I had to go 3200 miles just for the tour of georgia last year. Hopefully the tour of cali is good, maybe I will go next year. You guys have fun, take pictures, and tell us good tall tales of which riders you got close to.

They could use the same loop as they use for the Flora London Marathon, Finish at Saint James Park. 87 pubs along the route you know, Whoo hoo !

What is the anniversary of which you speak?
The only certain thing is they kept the Ventoux out after 2002 so Lance could not win it and the unbelievable and disreputable Richard Virenque could hold the last win in 2002 for as long as possible.

One of Armstrong's only regrets...gifting it to Pantani...what a stupid move and what a classless and crappy display Marco made after he was the only rider to stay with Lance up the last slopes...of course on many doses of EPO and HGH...

Lance wanted not to tire his team out so they didnt close the gap on the infamous scoundrel Virenque on the flats
Otherwise Lance would have won at Ventoux...

gifting a stage to anyone shows a lack of professionalism, respect and sportsmanship.

if Le Blanc had any sense he would have disqualified Armstrong for unsporting conduct.

no wonder Pantani was enraged, i would have been too. Armstrong was just as likely to have used EPO as Pantani was.
