Dawes galaxy Mavic T221s have done 8000km and the wear marker is
showing so its time to replace them. Seems low mileage? Alesa Endeavour
any better?

any better?It does seem low for an "average" rider, but a lot depends on the type
of weather and roads you are willing to ride. In dry weather rims don't
really wear at all, but on gritty wet lanes 8000km sounds pretty good.
