    You are
either TrollB, or that twit who surfaces once in a blue moon to ask
about the curious attitude towards helmets.

I thought it was a fair question. Certainly didn't think it was a troll.
    Am I missing something?

I found it deeply suspicious that the poster, with no previous posting
history under that identity, should pop up in urc immediately after a
spate of other trolls, and pop out with a thinly-veiled insult:

"Surely a couple of quid spent on a guard is cheaper than the laundry
bills after every trip out? Or are we missing
    something.....Testosterone, ego trip etc.???"

If the post was a genuine request for info then, fair dos, I was wrong,
    AIDMFPTC.

    Possible you are being oversensitive.

I think the OP has a point about testosterone. I know that as a teenager
the first thing I did when I got my new bike was take the mudguards off
    because they looked "uncool".

I'm older and wiser now. ;-)

Maybe a slightly provocative point for discussion rather than a request
for info, but still not quite a troll, I reckon.
