I have been getting a ridiculous amount of flats on my mountain bike in the last couple of months. I
ride about 15 miles a day on road and trail. I finally purchased new tires last month and have since
gotten 3 more flats. All the flats except one were on parts on the tube that did not come in contact
with the rim.
I can't believe this since I have ridden over the same trails and roads for 1000's of miles without
any flats.
I am thinking of getting heavy duty tubes, slime tubes or maybe a Kevlar liner. I have heard good
and bad about both slime tubes and Kevlar liners.
I have to try something. I'm getting very frustrated.
What would be the best way to reduce the incidents of flats and keep what little sanity I have left?
Thanks
Deb
