  1. Todays walk was over the ridge above Wast Water (The Screes) with a
    return along a pleasant Miterdale. It was certainly a remote and
    lonesome walk today but at least the rain held off and I was only in
    the mist on the very top of Illgill Head. Very boggy and waterlogged
    everywhere today though after the downpour yesterday.

    I was out again today on Hartsop Dodd, the weather wasn't quite so good
    though to say the least. Fair do's - you will probably be out when I am
    at work this weekend...
