to be "trolls", and his usual stern and overbearing manner, mixed with
threats of blackmail and intimidation, can be a little disconcerting
for some people.

His aim is to get group contributors to "killfile" or ignore the posts
of those he personally dislikes, by the tactic of intimating that they
will be ostracised by the rest of the Group if they don't.

He has been a destabilising influence here for many years!

He certainly is infinitely more destabilising that Om could ever be
