I started lifting weights last week (after several months of no weight that
started with an injury and continued due to lazyness and stupidity ! ARG)
and am enjoying myself a LOT (after a few days of pain.. ok.. a whole week..
but I'm ok now !)
Thing is, though the pain of the first week is there, I expected it and
reconize it.. there's another problem that is creeping up and getting worst
instead of better.. when I do pull downs.. my wrist hurts more and more...
I do them with a long bar, that I grab at shoulder whith (how do you spell
that???? I mean as large as my shoulders) palms facing away from me.. pull
down to my collar bone.. straight back everything (I'm fuffy about form,
that's how I hurt my back in the first place) then up.. slow movement no
jerking or anything..
yet my wrist feel like they are being pulled out of their socket, it hurts..
weight isn't much 60 lbs.. I'm not very strong to start with and only
begining again.. it doesn't hurt when I do bicept curls or anything else..
just pull down..
Any idea? exercise? I don't want to hurt myself again !
