  1. They say not to put on your sunscreen before you get your body marked at IM Wisconsin, presumably
    because it makes it harder to write on you. However, the sunscreen I normally use has an alcohol
    base and tends to take marker right off, which I doubt they'd be psyched about. Do I need to get
    another kind of sunscreen, or will they have marker-friendly sunscreen available?

  2. Buck,

    Go with what you are used to doing i.e. applying sunscreen..... unless there is a DQ for doing so.
    If body marking was so important to the race, then let them supply the adhesive numbers, like the
    ITU races.

    Besides, they aren't going to suffer the sunburn that you will.

  3. Harold;

    At all the IM's I've done, they have plenty of sunscreen at T1. Usually there are several little old
    ladies wearing latex gloves who will literally slather you with sunscreen if you want. As I recall,
    there were buckets of the stuff for them to work with.
