  1. Anyone here riding it this year? I've got number 3896. I'm planning a 7:30 am start for the Century.
I'd like to get with another rider or two with a Sub 6 hour century goal in mind. I am planning on
the rest stops, so this is sub 6 hour on the bike, ride. Who's going? Anyone interested? Do you
think Jimmy Hoffa is buried in Giant stadium?Denny in Sayre, Pa "Bent but not Broken"

No. I think he turned against those who conspired against him and forced him out of his leadereship
of the union he was so proud of. He began a new life talking up what he knew and where the bodies
were buried. Notice that it was after Jimmy's disappearance that the troubles and indictments began
for the teamsters. Jimmy is alive and well and living somewhere safe and sound and secure as an FBI
    informant.

BTW, good luck on the ride...

  4. 3 of the family have numbers in the 1800's

    2 Vision R40's and a BikeE...

Dunno what time we'll start - we're riding the metric.

At sub 6-hours, you'll be a fading rumor when we pass where you were lol.

Also riding the Heart of Virginia on Sept. 13th in Ashland.

  5. I figured I would reply to this posting and boy was I surprised when I went to the beginning of the
postings and saw my name ! I guess this has been reCYCLED since year 2000 !

Okay ! 2003: I'm back again for another century. Number this year is a whopping #127. I'm staying
the night before and after the big event on the Boardwalk in Ocean City but will be attending the
Saturday night post-ride Dinner Buffet which is basically eating at the university's "great"
    dining facility.

I expect to start around 730am or so depending on how lazy/great I feel that morning. However, I
generally get to the university parking lot real early to get a spot. I like the close spots as a
convenience for facilitating taking a shower afterwards.....but then with all that extra time in the
morning...I sometimes wind-up paying a visit to the McDonalds which is within easy walking distance
using the tunnel under Rte 13 near the gym.
