I took a flask. :-)

It was cold too. We put some water in a bowl for Magic and it turned to
ice almost instantly. But what an awesome day! Steve took a movie with
his camera at the summit. You can see me walking off with Magic at the
end.

Definitely. One problem with Border Collie owners is that the
intelligence is often at the wrong end of the lead.

A BC will find itself a job to do if you don't keep it motivated and
busy.

Fur coat and running around like (in our case a pair of) loons might
have something to do with it!
