Doesn't seem to be responding to requests to subscribe and the archives are closed to
non-subscribers (why?) . . . .

It is still very active, why its not letting you subscribe - I'm not sure, but to subscribe is free so just subscribe, there's loads of good advice on the forum, new & old.
Thanks - figured out that the list rejects subscription requests from certain domains (i.e.
yahoo.com) so all set now.

BarryG,
I am the list admin for the Bike E List. The list server doesn't reject any subscription from a
valid address, and certainly not by domain. ( I found 3 yahoo.com subscribers in the a's alone.) Can
you you give me any more info in case there is a problem that needs straightening out?
For example: the From; on this posting "BarryG" <n1eu at yahoo.com>" would not be a valid address, I
suspect; but "[email hidden]" would be just fine (if it was an actual address).
I saw a subscriber "something similar to this post"@myway.com, is that you? If you have a yahoo
account it should work just fine, but you have to return the subscription confirmation from that
account. So you couldn't subscribe your work address, without confirming the subscription from
that account.
Best regards,
Mike

Check with Brer Abbott at <[email hidden]> or Atlantic Bicycles as they are the only
two sellers of BikeEs I know of.
I got my CT-S from Abbott last year for 349$.

Someone might have set list_limit too low. I got in fine a week ago.
