Hi,
I'd like to know whether anyone has tried - and succeeded in - weight
reduction using the Velform sauna belt, which is advertised on
late-nite TV info-mercials. The info-mercial claims that the belt, when
worn around your waist for an hour or so a day - will make you sweat
off pounds and inches from your abs. Supposedly, no exercise is even
required. Has anyone here put those claims to the test?

If you carry gold coins you'll lose more weight than if you carry a

Sweating will cause you to lose temporary water weight but that is it.
Eating a bunch of celery (acts as a natural diuretic) works just as well
and will have the added effect of helping you lose intestinal weight due
to the fiber load. ;-)In other words, they are a rip-off.
HTH?
Cheers!

Will Brink @ http://www.brinkzone.comSauna belt or Sauna itself will make you loose water from your body.
This means loss of weight due to water and minerals lost from your
body. Sweating does not cleanse your body nor can it promote fat loss.
Fat will stay on our body and no matter what they claim on the
advertisement. The water loss is temporary and you will gain the weight
back.
They should ban false advertisements like these. You will be better off doing some walking instead of this.
