4 Hours on the MTB in misty redwood forests. Majority singletrack. Best present ever. 😄
-
NO, it was Sunday, my rest day. :p
Monday, 2hrs power walk.
Tuesday, (today) 3.1k in the pool and 1hr walk.
Tomorrow.... bike , maybe... and pool... 😎 -
A short ride on the trainer after all the day long visitation rounds. I am one pound up due to all the over indulgence.
-
I put in 25 miles before the Christmas dinner feast. I didn't feel so guilty about stuffing my face with all of the good food. I also put in 25 miles on Christmas Eve as well as the day after Christmas.
-
3-hr 2-person "GR". Couldn't figure out where the rest of my club was! Did have a fine Chanukah celebration in the evening!😄
-
Of course! He probably rode his bike on my birthday, why shouldn't I ride my bike on His birthday? 40 miles semi-hard.

You sure you're talking about a bicycle and not a sexual exprience?
I didn't ride on Christmas day but I did train. Does that count? Trained biceps, back and rotator cuffs in my home gym.
-
I spent an hour on the trainer doing my CTS Time Trial video.

Your question implies that these are mutually exclusive. While I haven't tried it on a bike, you've given me an idea.😄

I'm sure that'll go over well with the other half. Be careful about those saddle sores!

And to think all I was worried about was steering.
-
3hrs on the mtb plus a 1 hr threshold workout on the road bike. finished off a 20 hr week!
-
I decided to try doing 2x20's out on the road, having had my PT for over a week, so I rode 12 miles to the club circuit, rode 1x20, and couldn't make out the figures displayed, and on releasing the CPU from the mount, managed to delete all data!?!?😠
Well, I thought, I may as well do the 2nd interval but when I've done it, I'll ride home and look at the figures once down loaded(got the cycling peaks by the way - most excellent!!). So on arriving home, I removed the CPU from the bar-mount, and guess what? deleted al the data!!😠 😠
(Weird bit: it did actually record the whole event, but with crazy figures:
Entire ride (0w):
Duration: 113:25:27
Work: 28845 kJ
TSS: n/a
Norm Power: 77
Distance: 1.811 mi
Min Max Avg
Power: 0 363 71 watts
Heart Rate: 108 135 123 bpm
Cadence: 36 116 72 rpm
Speed: 9.3 18.6 15.1 mph
Torque: 0 141 30 lb-in
?????????????)
By the way this is the first time I have used the interval function, and I am now scared to use it.
So, yes, I rode for ~2 hours on Xmas day but have only got fatigue to show for it.
I plan to repeat the execise, and do a copy/paste onto 25/12 now I've started watching my TSS/IF. -
You bet I did. The weather here, which had been positively wretched for the previous three weeks, jumped up into the low 50's for three days around Christmas. I met with two different groups on three days, put in a good 40-45 miles each day.
This has nothing to do with training all the time, it was just a desire not to waste perfect riding weather, as there has been so little lately.

A lean Christmas:
23rd: 130km, -5 celcius, snow, 5h 30 min (rode to girlfriends parents)
24th: 0km, 21 celcius, comfy sofa, carboloading ( lots of fats too)
25th: 130 km, -3 celsium, 2X snowstorm, 5h 30 min (rode home) -
