Anyone had the following problem?
Tyres that "squelch" at one particular point of the wheel. They seem to be
fitted evenly on the rims.
They are 700 X 25 Continentals.
Any ideas?
Cheers.

are they brand new?
some tyres squeak a bit when they're new, especially on corners. Someone told me the rubber has an injection-mold release compound on it that needs to be worn off before any fast cornering is done.
Is there a dead cane toad stuck to it, that you haven't noticed? Or
chewie?

Did you run over a spot of oil? That seems to do it for my Michelins.

Do they have any tread? I find that true
slicks do squelch quite a bit. I have
Michelin Prorace 2s that squelch a bit.
Most noticeable on smooth surfaces.
