Nancy Young said:My cooking is almost complete; made the cookies and the
artichoke dip has been made and half of it is gone already,
served on thin baguette slices. Mmmm mmm.
Only thing left is to roast the rib roast, the baked potatoes
and roasted garlic to go with dinner. Rib roast is easy,
so long as there is plenty of garlic and salt applied and it's
not overdone, it's all good. Some green vegetable, perhaps
broccoli, to go with it.
Tonight, maybe tomorrow morning, I'll boil shrimp to bring
to my brother's place, it's an easy holiday for me.
Happy holidays and a happy year for everyone, that's my
wish for y'all. (smile)

2 hours Oh! I forgot to menyion the poultry seasoning
....Soon I'll make a roux and turn the fake turkey stock into gravy.
Right after this next libation. Brandy in your coffee? (Wasn't that a
song from the 60's)
Daughter is bringing a cheesecake and as a surprise I made her
Jello...something she loved as a kid and rarely got as a dessert. Hope
she sees this in the right light. Anyways 2 desserts is always better
than one
