  1. I'am getting ready to buy my first pair of cycling shoes, most sites that I've been to just give size in mm no widths, when it comes to cycling shoes does one size fit all widths? My feet are very wide and most shoes take awhile for me to break in. If there is a site with wide shoes, could someone let me know, Thanks

  2. Some manufacturers do make wider widths, for example Sidi make a "Mega" version of their Dominator which is wider. I'm sure most of the better brands would also feature a wider fit shoe somewhere in their lineup. I can highly recommend Sidis though!

For your first purchase, I would recommend you go to your LBS and try them on. I purchased the SIDI Genius 4 "Mega" that fit great!

  4. Try the Carnac Legend too (a great road shoe by the way). I tried the top-of-the-line Carnac and it was much too tight for my wide feet. Then I tried the Legend and it fit me perfectly. I'm glad to hear about the Sidi Mega by the way. I have Dominators and I've always thought that they were too narrow, although that's a great shoe as well. Although, the Dominator is primarily an offroad shoe, so maybe that's not what you're looking for. Find a Carnac dealer.

  5. I would like to thank everyone who replied, I now have some ideal of where to start looking. Again thanks to all!

  6. dont rule out the new nikes I ahve wide feet and last years poggios are the best shoes i have ever had
