Bought and installed a THird-Eye Pro helmet mirror. MAde a flat spot on the inside of the helmet, notched a groove for the "bump" on the mounting pad, sanded everything smoothe and installed. Over the last two days, it's been in the garage, and it's been in the upper 90's-100, so the garage was HOT. Went to get the helmet today and the adhesive appears to have released due to the heat (beteen the pad and helmet, not pad and mounting plate.
Anyone else experienced this and how did you solve it?

Mine does that, but I am able to just press it back on and it stays.
I found that the adhesive on the mirror would loosen over time and with heat. On a hot day, the mirror would start to slip with each major bump in the road. I finally removed the stock adhesive and applied a 2-part epoxy. I then secured the mirror in place with a zip tie run through the vent holes. No problems since.

I super-glued it to my helmet. Worked fine. The adhesive that came with the mirror didn't even last two days for me. Super glue may have a problem if any styrofoam is exposed inside your helmet.
After almost a year of use the ball-joint, the joint closest to the helmet, got to where it wouldn't hold the mirror in position. I super-glued that too.
I've gotten to where I don't want to ride without that helmet mirror.

I used an aluminum rivet and secured mine to my plastic visor on my helmet.
