My commute is 9.5 miles a day. I did do 29 rides of 100miles or more,
four of 200 miles or more, -

Audax points. I know of two calander events he rode, I assume most of
the points must be permanents. We have lots of variations on
permanents available in South Wales created when John Hayes became the
champion a few years ago. -

because 2 are from last year whereas I have only earned 1 this year. I
ride whenever I can, which needs to be a lot more by this time next
year if I am to finish PBP. -

I'm up to 1699km this year with a single year metric Eddington number of
19. I've not calculated my lifetime Eddington number (partly because my
records pre 2001 are imperial, and partly because I lost some records
during 2002 and between 1973 & 1991, and partly because I just cant be
a**ed (tm)).
I'm not really sure that Eddington numbers tell you a great deal about
relative fitness - fun all the same though. -

I make up for it on my yearly 2 month cycle/camping tour. 2006 ---down the
Rhein --- up and down the Mosel , then down the Rhein to Rotterdam -- Hull
and home it will be about 2000kms on my next bike + BOB trailer--
