When you are riding your bicycle pay attention to the nose
of your saddle and the forces you apply to it with your
inner thighs. If you can peddle with your hands off the
bars, pay attention then also. Also pay attention when you
    are at a traffic stop.

  2. did duke steal the bronze?

  3. Does anyone angle their saddle down slightly. I do this because I find
it is more comfortable and I'm almost certain there is space between
the crotch and the saddle and it does not come into contact with the
saddle. Only the sit bones seem to contact.

  4. yeah. i'm 6'4" on a standard sports tourer. to get an acceptabell top
tube length, i installed the longest affordable back reach seat post
and a specialized minkow prostate saddle-comp road-with adequate rails.
otherwise the knees would jam doing more pushing forward than spinning
    downward.
to get the angle so only the sit bones sit-thus lengthening the "top
    tube" length further
i drilled a hole into the seat post rail support and placed a #6 bolt
tih half the head sawed off.
sadddle rail holder then jams into the bolt stop and stays at max tilt.
specialized offered a T shaped seat in the year prior to my buying
    one-all sit bones, less nose
i inquired about the design's disappearance and was told no one bought
    it,off course.

I work the angle down until I feel the load on my wrists - then I move it back
just enough to unload the wrists... and yes, it does make a diff in how much
abuse is inflicted on the plumbing.

Not anymore. It's too hard on my wrists and too difficult to ride
    no-handed.

This is one way to address the problem. It works for some...both
"some saddles" and "some people", but not all of either.
