It was Only a Matter of Time
Sally Fallon and Dr. Joseph Mercola both promote
the consumption of raw milk. See:

Last August, Dee Creek Farm, a California dairy, was
ordered to shut down because pasteruized milk from their
cows was illegally sold to trusting consumers believing
in Dr. Mercola's assurances, who, should have obtained a
second opinion. Sally Fallon's one woman national campaign
to legalize the sale and distribution of unpasteurized
milk just reinforced Mercola's poor advice.
As of this morning (Saturday, December 17, 2005) four
of eleven sickened people have died because Dee Creek
Farm defied the order to cease the distribution of raw milk.
I wait, apprehensively, for Fallon and Mercola to blame
this disease on soy as they do all others.
Yesterday (December 16, 2005), California Department of
Health authorities issues the following press release:
"An E. coli outbreak that has sickened at least eight
children has been traced to unpasteurized milk from a
dairy that had been ordered last summer to stop distributing
the product. The dairy has been shut down. People who drank
unpasteurized, or raw, milk from the Dee Creek Farm were
asked to contact their health department, whether they were
sick or not."
It is only a matter of time before this happens again...
and again...and again, because irresponsible people
with seemingly good intentions continuously lull trusting
consumers into doing the wrong thing.
The moral of this story: Do not drink body fluids
from diseased animals. How does one ever know? One
does not.
