  1. as local club, we want to make our indoor track (velodrome?). we need plans and calculate the price that will be paid by sponsor.

where can we find some "free indoor track plans or/and details"?

any link or suggestion are welcome.

  2. Woo, youre barkin up the wrong tree bud. Them tracks are 'xpensive. It ain't gonna be cheap.

    But, go for it!

  3. I've seen some cool plans for a figure 8 track that look pretty cool. Imagine a track race where there is a right hand turn and you go through a tunnel!

  4. Where is this? Tell me it's San Francisco!!! I've been waiting for that one to get funded and built. Supposedly there are some hefty backers, but I have yet to see the rich supposed cycling supporters like Robin Williams and Tom Weisel pony up. I sure hope they do. Indoor! Wow!

  5. Check the book "No Brakes!" There are all sorts of references in there.

  6. figure about $1,000,000 all-in for an outdoor cement track.

indoor wood, all-in is going to be a bit more.

I know the purists would HATE it, but a figure-8 track would be NUTS 🙂

  7. You can check for some web sites of track builders, maybe you can write to them for some help. You can find those links at fixedgearfever.com You will see some ideas for less expensive tracks.

    Good luck!

  8. thank you!
