  1. Yesterday morning I gave my new top its first outing, birthday pressie
from my folks (I'm one of those awful ones that doesn't wait till my
birthday comes before opening). It's a rather spiffy Irn Bru jersey
    from Foska.

So I hit the first set of lights. There's a Pajero sitting there and it
starts edging forward. ``Hello'' I think ``got an impatient one here''.

Window winds down and a broad Scottish voice announces ``Ahh loike yer
    top.''

Had a quick chit chat about the virtue of this marvellous drink, which
the man calls the national drink of Scotland, it's wonderful attributes
for curing hangovers (it's true) and he was really happy when I told him
of a place in Cheltenham he could get the amber nectar from.

Had me grinning from ear to ear for the length of Centre Dandenong. Oh
    and it's a neat jumper too :-)

With a Scottish accent it's more like "Och, leek yer toop"

I thought Euan's version sounded more Brummy myself. Obviously the admirer
was a more upper class Scot, or it would have been "Gies yer top ya bam!"
    🙂

    Exactly that :-)

Pajero man stopped by me again today, seems there was a
mis-understanding. He was after a couple of tops for his sons :-D

Not a bad looking jersey. I like the Marmite one too in a sort of Cinzano
logo sort of way but it doesn't look like it'd be all that visible.
