Exasperated Milk

If I'd been left behind, I'd be exasperated too. You need to treat
that can of milk with respect. Give it love and attention and hope it
turns into evaporated milk. If it does, you can use it in creamy pasta
dishes.

I was wondering what 'exasperated milk' is myself. I wouldn't be using
it! But hopefully she's talking about evaporated milk.

It does go bad in the can. Will turn lumpy. Throw it out.

Correct - when it doubt be sure to toss it rather than taking a chance
on becoming ill.

If it was left by the previous residents, it may be a terrorist plot
to kill you and your family. Throw it away or donate it to a food drive
and let them worry about the terrorists. Then buy your own canned
goods, destined to be left behind for the next tenants.

I know exactly how your can of milk must feel. These are exasperating
times. My current theory is that some of the exasperation comes from
spell checkers, but I'm still doing research.

If I had a can of said milk that was of unknown age and if I weren't
very hungry, I'd mail it to FEMA or maybe detonate it in a rural area.

Oh yes. Nuke some apples, and mix 50/50 with the exasperated milk.
Lovely. If your milk has sat still so long that its separating, which
it does eventually, put it in blender first.
