    AAAGGGHHH!

At Mildenhall today I had a go on a bent trike. Vernon & I went on a bent tandem. The dark side is
    calling!!!

    AAAAGGGHHHH!!!!!!

Resistance is futile, but lack of cash isn't;-)

Have to admit, I'd love a bent tadpole trike. It just felt so natural cycling one.

The dark side is calling, calling....

    Wimper...

Those very, very nice people at ICE let me take a Trice Micro (recumbent trike) out for an hour --
which was very good of them considering it's a £2800 bike and all I left with them as security was a
mobile phone and a copy of Mike Burrow's book.

The build quality of the ICE Trice range is now very good, and the range from tourer to high-speed
racer is getting wider. Time to revise my post-lottery-win list. Remove Greenspeed, include Trice.

Any uk.r.c'ers at Mildenhall on Monday? I'll be taking a Moulton and trying to blag a ride on a
    different Trice....

    Mike

I doubt the Unfit Family will be as Vernon & Nathan are doing a time trial tomorrow morning. But you
    never know!

  6. Neil from ICE (the company that make the trice) told me a couple had picked a tandem trike up from
them at the rally, and were riding it back to Norwich. I did wonder if you'd taken the plunge Helen.

  7. I feel your pain, I have wanted to get bent for YEARS, I currently split my lusting between a GT
streetMachine and a windcheeta Club Sport SA (that's the build it yourself one!).

    kinetics.org.ukstreetmachine.html

windcheetah.co.ukwindcheetah.co.uk (they do something horrendous to stop you deep linking so follow links
to club sport and scroll down)

    Fortunately I don't have the +- £1500 required so I don't have to come to a decision!

Wow, that's really quite nice, shame it has a £1,295 proce tag... They do a bit of Javascript to
load the menu at the top if it's not there, so just go to windcheetah.co.ukclub.htm

    Cheers,

P.S. These recumbant trikes look pretty cool...

I'd love too - but would still prefer a solo machine I think. It's my controlfreakery coming out ;-)
The couple from Norwich are in CTC locally and we've seen them out on their bent tandem at CTC
meets. Nice couple. I may have cycled past you on said wobbly bike as I was trying out a bent -
certainly went by someone on a wobbly bike as I was trying out a bent!

And my immoral soul would remain unsold.
