Just got one myself at £59.95 and I must say I'm very impressed. It folds down quite well so it can be stored in a corner out of the way. I had my Thorn Nomad on the stand by the seat pin and it was quite stable. Any work, which requires force, too loosen cranks, bottom bracket etc, I'd advise putting the bike on the floor for this. But apart from the above I'd recommended it for generally servicing and working on your bike. I also think it is exactly the same as the Union work stand you see around.
Well I hope this helps anyone interested in a work stand and that's my Nomad serviced for the winter.
Sheesh. EBC really needs to sort out its deep-linking problems.
Do you think this "deep linking" problem at EBC could be part of the FAQ -- This post contains no hidden meanings, no implications and certainly no hidden agendas so it should be taken at face value. The wrong words may be used this is due to my limitations with the English language .
