confidently hole the shell, puncturing the membrane inside too, knowing

I now have a very ornately 3D decorated microwave interior, complete
with stalactites, and a rich mixture of white and yellow patterning...
everywhere.

So I googled, and sure enough shell cooking eggs is just no go. If only
I'd read that first! I'm still convinced I saw a commerical nuke egg
cooker with a spike that pricked the shell, but from what I've read it
sounds like it was dangerous.

Ah well. I guess not every eggsperiment is a success. Just have to
learn from eggsperience.

Toasts them on the inside and they don't explode, but they way they
expand is very soul satisfying......

Years ago I used to work swing shift in the offices of a large Silicon
Valley computer company.

One evening there was the terrible smell coming from the break room. I
walked into the room and there was the janitorial crew, cleaning out
the microwave. They had been on dinner break. They guys were all
Korean and didn't speak much english. I managed to find out that while
they were warming a large whole carp in the microwave, it had exploded
all over the interior of the oven. At least it wasn't burned popcorn.

That microwave was also used for vindictive purposes. A swingshift
co-worker used to nuke dayshift workers desktop plants for 10 or 15
seconds. The plant appeared fine when it came out of the microwave,
but would die a week or so later.

Microwaves are evil.

When I make rice crispy treats, I nuke the marshmallows, they get huge.

I generally get extra peeps during the easter season and let them get
nice and stale and hard.

They nuke great in the winter that way!

Floating a peep in a cup of hot cocoa is kinda sadistic. They melt away
slowly until all there is left is a little pair of peep eyeballs staring
at you out of your cup.
