I'm going to be riding down the pacific coast in this december...about 1500 miles or so. Does anyone who has been on such a trip have any good advice ie things I should bring, things I should avoid, training tips, etc. Thanks

For better response you may want to post into the specific forums for Touring and Training. Some people probably participate there but don't spend time in the Bike Cafe.Enjoy the ride, I have driven through various portions of the coast and it is spectacular! One day maybe I'll do it on a bike. 🙂
bikeforums.net also has a touring forum I believe.
