  1. Hi,

I am looking to trade Spinerval DVDs. I currently have only Spinervals
6.0 The Zoot Challenge. So there is no confusion, I have the
*original* DVD and I am not asking to trade copies. Trading the
originals is perfectly legal. I have had this DVD for a year and
enjoyed it but I would like to try different workouts.

If you have a Spinerval DVD and would like to trade (Canada or US), let
    me know!

    Dave

  2. I forgot to mention, I prefer to trade but I might also be willing to
buy used Spinervals DVDs if you are looking to sell. Thanks!

I have a strong respect for intellectual property rights, so I would like to
point out that it would be illegal to trade or sell the original after
making a copy to keep for oneself. (I'm not suggesting you would do this,
    Dave.)

I'm not entirely sure about US law, but in the Netherlands, it's perfectly
legal to make a copy of AV material one has for oneself and keep it after
selling the original on. For that matter, it's perfectly legal to make
copies of a library copy for oneself, and there's a strong case that
downloading mp3s comes under the same heading. The key is that it has to
    be for personal use.

If Dave sold a copy, both Dave and the buyer would be illegal.
If Dave made a copy and sold/traded the original, the buyer would be
perfectly in accordance with the law, and only Dave would be in violation.
That's between Dave, God and the FBI, so I don't think anybody else should
    worry about it.
