  1. Hello all!
Yes, I'm back (for a minute). Like everyone else, I felt a need to
make a unicycling video. Originally it was entitled "Average
Unicycling" to give you a feeling of the Xtreme Factor, so don't expect
anything amazing. It was just some video taken on my digital camera of
me riding in the snow and falling over and over.

Although the riding isn't that amazing, I thought the editing turned
out pretty decent, so if nothing else, watch it for that. It's four
and a half minutes long, so the smallest I could get it was 10 megs.
    Hope you don't mind.

Anyways, I'd like to hear what you all think.

  5. The snow looks soft and fluffy. Fun video. It makes me feel like I
must have seen it a thousand times before . . . but you'd understand
    that, eh?🙄 🙄

I use a VERY old version of Adobe Premiere, and then I transferred the
finished movie over to Windows Movie Maker to convert it to .wmv format
for the smaller file size. I've had my copy of Premiere for about five
years, but I haven't really played with it much until now. This was my
first try, and my last until I can go shoot some more footage.

Yeah, it probably wouldn't be the same trying this in Moab 😄

Thanks everyone for your praise and encouragement. I was afraid of
showing this video here. With all the amazing riders and clips out
there, I thought that mine might seem pretty boring. I'll never be
able to do all the things I've seen, but as long as I can entertain,
I'm doing something right. Besides, my Mom will find it extreme...

It was clear to me the goal was fun and entertainment, versus high
technical. But I've ridden with you, so I know the vid doesn't even
come close to bustin' out the riding you're capable of. There was
snow, and you took advantage of it. In Moab there's rock, and you take
advantage of that. And speaking of which, are you going to be able to
    make it next spring??? 🙂

I'm planning on it, yes. Whether or not I'll make it is another
matter. Last year was about a month after my hernia surgery (which
yes, I really did get from going off jumps in the snow), but I was
still hoping to go. It just didn't turn out working for me (probably a
    good thing, too).
But if everything works out this year, I'm Moab bound, and if they're
still doing the prize giveaways, I've got something really cool planned
for this year (ya ever noticed how banjos and unicycles look very
    similar? 🙂 )
