The trail in Tewilliger park goes South to the new Anthony bridge,
which you can ride all the way to from Fort Edm.

btw...Andrew: do you know of any connecting trails to the two new
bridges in the river valley (new part of Anthony Henday)? I want to
find
some connections so I can do the "18 bridges tour" in the spring.

The trails in Tewilliger park go all the way south to the new Anthony
bridge, which also connects to fort Edm on the North.

I am actually going to ride there on Monday...Interested?

I'd love to, but I'm going to be at work on the south side and out in
Sherwood Park for a good chunk of the day.

Do you know about where near Fort Edmonton the trails come out? I've
never had the opportunity to go exploring much past the Quesnel Bridge
(I usually use mill creek and the Capilano area trails).

To tell you the truth I've never gone much North on these paticular
trails. It turn into an asphalt trail on the far north of tewilliger
and I usually turn in favor of more dirt and ST.

I did ride today, I went into tewilliger like I was planning, there was
a lot of sticky mud mixed with leaves which makes for a great cement
mix for suddenly stopping your front tire and any dreams of a climb of
any kind.

Despite the sticky mud, this was probably one of the best November days
to ride ever, the sun was out, trails empty and the park was my
personal play ground. I went down to the new bridge today and actually
crossed it for the first time, there isn't much on the other side yet,
but wait, trails will appear.

Well, I only had the chance to go to/from work today, but it was the
same in the Mill Creek area. The trails are pretty empty and I
generally stayed off of the dirt and ST as they are the same sticky/wet
and I don't want to cut into them. Even climbing out on the chips was
interesting.

The one good chuckle I did have was a bunch of teens on (generally)
BSO's trying some of the chip areas in the dark. Not a light to be seen
in the bunch and finding out the same thing about the mud in trying
their favorite jumps.... I think I heard at least one of them pile it up
good.

On a side note, what do you run for rubber on your bike? If you've
found something good for the local conditions, I'd love to hear about
it...I'm looking around for next season and you ride the same stuff I do.
