If he's here he's easy for me to give grief. He was a local and friend,
but seems to cause that reaction in people. ;-)

I will be the really _really_ drunk fellow with pockets full of water
bottles full of hot cider and rum. Probably a fifth of Bushmills
stuffed in there too.

Oh, and I will be running back and forth in an effort to induce
vomitting, so dont stand in front of me.

That is SATURDAY.

There is just NO TELLING what I will be doing on Sunday.

Funny I always thought of him as one of the more restrained members

He's got a way of connecting with people. Watching him interact with
some of the young riders he was coaching, and the way they responded
was great. Sometimes I'm just not quite sure how to take him,
interesting sense of humor. I'm seriously hoping he'll be coming back

if i'm remembering correctly, he once said he had to learn how to do
that. and i was a little surprised because it had always seemed like a
completely natural ability he had. and also, i couldn't imagine how one
would go about learning to connect with people. i asked him how he did
it, but i think that was about the time i was severely tryin his
patience (not that he complained) with my endless email and he never did
answer that question.

so have you read the book? care to post a review? would your average
bike racer benefit from it? i keep thinking maybe i should read it, but
i already have problems with being manipulative, so it's not good to
give my subconscious more material. i'm definitely keeping away from the
companion book "why men love [censored]". lol.

I'll be helping the Mrs. for most of the time, hopefully in between a
few good races and some good beers too. Although I'll be trying to
stay away from those drunk Jonathan Page fans; I might get sucked in to
the dark side :-)

Yeah, those Page guys are EVIL.
Looks like I'm going to be doing the personal volunteer to the
registration coordinator bit, but she got Robert to volunteer for bike
messenger duty, which is cool as hell, and he's excited about it. Looks
like Lys is going to race both days.
Gonna be a ton of fun.
