  1. Anybody from South Jersey out there? Looking for a training partner to
train for a Marathon. I just finished my 1st at the Marine Corps
Marathon in Washington D.C. on the 30th of October! It was a great
experiance and I am hooked. I have a group listed on
www.runningplaces.com. it is called South Jersey runners. You can find
it by typing in NJ under the state and you will find it at the bottom
of the list. I am the only member at the moment because thier does not
to seem to be an interest in the area for marathon training, or running
in general. It would be nice to have some one along for the ride next
time I go 26.2. I am going to be doing a 5K this weekend in Wilmington
DE. It is the 21st annual run for independence. I hope to run a PR!
we will see. By the way, I am not setting any land speed records. My
training pace is about 8:30-9:30 /mi. I ran the Marathon in 4:47:07
and my new goal is to run a 4:00.

I'm "the man", and I say nobody LIVES in Jersey.

  7. No No. I am "the man", and yes, I LIVE in Jersey. The "Garden
State". we even have a state song. Listen
http://www.njstatesong.com/adapted.html New Jersey has the highest
population density in the U.S. An average 1,030 people per sq. mi.,
which is 13 times the national average. Sounds Great huh? New Jersey
has the highest percent urban population in the U.S. with about 90% of
the people living in an urban area. Gehtto Fabulous! North Jersey is
the car theft capital of the world, with more cars stolen in Newark
then any other city. Even the 2 largest cities, NYC and LA put
    together. Gone in 60 Seconds!
New Jersey has the most diners in the world and is sometimes referred
to as the diner capital of the world. Excuse me.. Flo. Whats the "Soup
De jour"! New Jersey is a leading industrial state and is the largest
chemical producing state in the nation. Is that what that smell it!
New Jersey has 108 toxic waste dumps. Which is the most in any one
state in the nation. Yeah Thats what it is... oh no. New Jersey is
home to the Miss America pageant held in Atlantic City, and they have
moved on too. Aw man [censored] Lover....Maybe you are the man. I'm sure
its better up in MASSACHEWSATS! HA HA!

Not sure where you are in SJ, but you might look at
    http://southjersey.com/articles/?articleID=13853
    http://www.southjerseyac.org/

(found by googling on '"South Jersey" running'😉

I know at least 3 people have asked about SJ trails and/or ultrarunning
in the last year or so (on various groups). So there's definitely
runners there and some beautiful places to run. (and they are still
    there from what I've heard)

If you're more in the Delaware direction, I wouldn't be surprised if
some of those clubs include some SJ runners. Ditto for SE Pa, Delaware
Valley, etc. Google is your friend.
