I bought a pkg. of boudin and I have googled to find out how to cook it but
can't find anything much except how to make it. It looks bad in the
package, like a white sausage. So what should I do to make it good?

to fry.) It's kinda like "dirty rice" in a sausage casing.Best regards,

can heat boudin in simmering water as you might a hotdog.-Mike

You can fry it on low-moderate heat in butter or oil/butter combo. But
it's nowhere near as good as dirty rice. -aem -

simmer it in a little liquid (water or beer; I'd go with water this time).
It's not the type of sausage you can fry or grill. Poke some holes in it
with a fork when you simmer it but don't be surprised if the casings split
during cooking. That's not a problem. You'll be surprised out how tasty it
is. Serve it with some veggies. Since it already has rice in it you may
not want to add another starchy side dish (I don't).Jill
