  1. Someone asked for this recipe a little while back and I can't find
the thread, nor do I remember who asked, but...

Basically, I make the recipe on the cranberry bag, but with the juice
and zest of a lemon and a little more sugar to compensate for the sour.
It isn't much of a recipe, but we like it.

    Regards,
    Ranee

URRRR? RRRot rrrow.....Cranberry Bag? ? ? I am lost. My cranberries come in a
clear plastic bag and there is no recipe on them. : )

I am guessing your using non fresh cranberries. What brand is this so I know
what recipe to write down in the store. THANKS!

Ok sounds reasonable. One we clear up the "cranberry bag" issue.

Thanks, Ranee! I'll have to give it a try.

Fresh cranberries, Ocean Spray. I think it's just a basic recipe
like one you might find in Joy of Cooking. 🙂

IIRC, it's one 12 oz. bag of fresh cranberries, one orange quartered and
seeded, 3/4 cup granulated sugar. I would probably use 1 cup sugar if I
used the lemon instead of the orange. Put cranberries and orange or lemon
through the food chopper or food processor, mix in sugar. Refrigerate
covered, preferably overnight, until serving time.
