Ooh, pointy! I thought my first sight of a Swiss mountain (no idea what
it was though) was impressive but that is *seriously* impressive!

Shot at f4.7 on a compact Zoom (which according to kodaks specifications for
the camera is the only appeture setting available) you can hardly expect
stuff in the distance to be as clear as it would at f32

(Just saved to desktop and looked at the exif data)

Wow, never seen it like that before. I think the cloud makes them look more
dangerous and un-climbable - under a clear blue sky it looks almost as if
you could reach out and touch them. I have no intention of even attempting
those buggers though, I'm quite happy to look at them from the valley.

Right, but you may notice the sun is behind the rock walls not lighting it.
That's the problem. You can see it on the lower left serac. I'm well
aware of the limitations of the camera thanks.
