  1. hello ! after reading most comments about my situation with the police and
    my cycle i have more information regarding the charges the police have
    preferred against me. i have been charged under the road traffic act 1988
    section 29 the charge being that i was cycling with undue care for others.
    i was also told that my flashing led back light was not legal and that my
    cycle was in such a state the police were moving to forfeit it. i reckon
    they over reacted but there is nothing i can do

    You could read the threads on flashing lights - they seem to be legal now
    but it will be good that you are volunteering to test it in court.

    If your bike is in such a state you are better off without it.
    Otherwise you could try asking Mr. Plod if he will let you fix it
    and then take it away.
