  1. any opinions on Continental Garorbacks? I am looking for a good commuting tire for the coming
    winter months.

  2. If you mean there" gatorskins", i will not recommend them. I would by their "grand prix 4 season"
instead, and save some flat tubes

  3. Been using them on winter bike for two seasons now, they're extremely stout. Down from maybe 5-6
flats during the winter to 1-2. They're also very long-wearing, but don't corner quite as good as my
    summer tires.

????The Gatorskin is a more durable version of the GP 4 season, which has less and stickier tread,
like the other racing tire, the GP-3000...

I've only started using Gator Skins (700 x 23) recently, in fact these are the first Continental
tyres I've used in about 5 years. I've yet to suffer a puncture and they seem to be very hard
wearing. I've only covered about 3000 km but there's very little wear even in the rear tyre and no
cuts yet despite many miles around London streets - rough with plenty of broken glass.

I've bought another pair for when the current tyres wear out and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend
    them. Excellent tyres IMO.

    Craig.
