Well I sure seem to have used up my luck before midday today.
Something bad crapped out at work which wasn't directly me but affected
me. Work ended, flat on the rear. Nice big gouge in my 3 week old tire
courtesy of a fscking bogan dropping.
Riding to Goat and stop at lights at the junction of Hoddle and Bridge.
Some [censored] decides he's way to important for the lights and busts 'em
and guess who cops motorist abuse for it. ``Helloooo? I'm stopped at
the fscking lights, what you giving me grief for?''
Goat was good, very good.
Normally I use Chapel Street to get on to Nepean etc. Bikesoiler
suggested Willams Road. I ended up going up Burnley Street, over the
railway line and...
....and...
Things got a little hazy. I ended up in some back streets but
eventually found Williams Road. All good. Now I only had three pints
so I wasn't that impaired.
So can someone please explain to me why I thought Princes Highway was a
good idea?
Anyone?
Well obviously I made it home but jeeze, what a bone choice.
