Felt Bikes

I have a Felt s-32 Tri bike. I love it. Everyone I have met who owns a Felt has raved about the value you get for the money. Its a lot of Bang for the Buck. It's my first "real" bike, and It's a BIG improvement over my old Diamondback. I'm actually considering buying a regular road race bike from Felt also.

Felt bicycles are made in the same factories that Specialized, Fuji, and Motobecane are made.
The quality is excellant.

I test rode a few and the only reason I didn't one was because another shop had a better end of season deal on a Jamis. The felts are sweet.

I just bought a 2002 Felt F-75 and I LOVE it! It handles beautifully and has great components (Shimano 105, Mavic rims, Continental tires, etc.)

I have a 2003 F65. Same as everyone else; love it.

When I was shopping for a bike, I went to the bike shop that was highly recommended in my area. I talked to the owner and looked at all of the brands available. He had Felts in stock, but for the money, the TREK 1500 had better components and was a better value. I guess it just depends on what you want to do with it!

Are you sure.The 1500 is a mix of Tiagra/105/Ultegra and Felts bottom bike,the F70 is all 105 and one model up,the F60 is 105/Ultegra mix.Wheelsets on the felts and trek are about equal.What were you looking at?I know felts prices are pretty good.

I've been shopping for a road Bike for a couple of months now and have ridden everything from an $1895 Cannondale to the 2003 Felt F85 I just bought for only $460 at supergo....😉

As you probably know, the F85 is Felt's entry level, it comes with Tiagra (My wife calls it "Viagra"😉...and one thing I love about Felts is the color co-ordination, it looks really cool in Red with red stripey Tires...in fact it promises to make this novice look like he knows what he's doin.....🙂

Also, without doing it on purpose, I'm supporting a local Business, Felt are located in Lake Forest, CA, which is just up the road from me....

If you're looking for a really nice Bike, add Felt to your shopping list, it looks like they have a Bike to fit most Budgets and riding needs...

I'll report more as time goes on, I'm going for my first ride on it tommorrow, 30 miles, so as soon as I can sit at the Pooter again I'll let you all know how it goes....

Oh, a quick question, I need to buy some Clipless Pedals for it, I already own a pair of Shimano SPD (obviously) compatible shoes...any suggestions? 😕

There is a Felt F80 & F90 too - so he may have been comparing the 1500 with one of those.

I've got two Felts. I got a 58cm Felt F80 frame/fork and built it up with a mix of Shimano 105/Ultegra double etc. It ended up as an inexpensive bike that will take the hard days training and last.

I really like it - so much so that I've bought another F80 frame. It's an 06 with a semi sloping(I'd rather just have a standard frame shape) top tube. It's a 60cm - more my size.

Best part - the cool bright yellow colour - matches my Fausto Coppi race bike🙂 .

I've gotten hold of an accident damaged Avanti with full 9 speed Ultegra which I'm transfering on to the Felt.
I need to have the Mavic Cosmic rear wheel re rimmed first - it's very bent!!
It should end up as a good handling, comfortable and inexpensive 2nd training bike - this can be my good weather, daytime only training bike🙂
