  1. Hi,

I have had a rough couple of months with the trianing. Did some larger running races and some
cycling races in short succession (i.e. racing every weekend for a month). Anyway, near the end of
the month I really went flat and as a result I have come down with a strange mystery virus that I
can't shake. Just making me feel crappy and tired. No problem, probably just need a break.

What I was wondering was how much do I have to do just to maintain what I had. I.e. Anaerobic
threshold etc. I have been doing one AT session about once every 10 days. Is this enough to maintain
    what I had?

    thanks

    Bob

I'd encourage you to listen carefully to your physician. After pushing too hard with a simple case
of bronchitis, I ended up with exercise- induced athsma, and couldn't even walk fast for almost six
weeks. Don't push too hard. Better to lose a little fitness and recover quickly than end up really
sick and take months to get back.
