I am looking for a list of antivitamins. They are substances which
inactivate the vitamins.
Anyone have any information on them?

No, they don't. Antivitamins are substances that are either utilized like
the corresponding vitamin but do not have the activity or that inhibit the
metabolic pathway of a vitamin.

Many antivitamins have a chemical structure similar to the vitamin but lack
an important chemical group which makes them inactive. Generally:
antivitamins don't play a great role in nutrition nowadays since most of the
plants we are eating now are "domesticated" to a degree where they contain
very little of them.
Example for how antivitamins "work":
Enzymes that link vitamins to "Target-Enzymes"* etc (wherever the vitamin is
needed as a prosthetic group) don't recognize the difference between
antivitamin and vitamin and just as readily put the antivitamin in there..
and this makes the Target-Enzyme useless.
* like, say, Flavoproteins in the case of Vitamin B2.
Refined carbohydrates are anti-vitamins. Your body needs vitamins to
metabolize sugars and starches and since the refined carbs contain none
of these vitamins, it must get them from what vitamins there are stored
in your tissues. Thus it depletes you of nutrition.

the same "logic" goes for any refined macronutrient- carb or not.
plase read up on the word "antivitamin" in a medical or biochemical
dictionary.

Main Entry: an·ti·vi·ta·min
Pronunciation: 'ant-i-"vIt-&-m&n, 'an-"tI-, Brit usu -"vit-
Function: noun
: a substance that makes a vitamin metabolically ineffective
So, technically carbs are not antivitamins. But they do deplete you of
vitamins which essentially has the same effect as an antivitamin, if
not worse, due to the large amounts of refined carbs being consumed and
the serious depletion of nutrients being experienced.

I argue that there are substances that change
vitamins into some form that is no longer active.
You can't say that these can't be called antivitamins also M&M

If that would be so things like "sunlight", "heat" and "oxygen" would be
"antivitamins".. and that makes hardly any sense at all since a vitamin is
always a molecule of some sort.

"MMu" .. three letters, not too hard to spell for most people.

Anti vitamins aren't vitamins MnM.
Isn't that the point? ;-)
There are other examples in chemistry
than yours that really could be antivitamins.
You can scrap yours.
