Let me slip you some "scottish sausage" and in 9 months you'll gain a
    LOT of weight.

No, the solution is to eat a lot and hit the gym. If you're not already,
you need to start eating 5 or 6 moderate size meals a day. That will help
balance your metabolism out. You need to be lifting no less than 4 times a
week and consistently push yourself to lift heavier.

Get a lot of rest, too. "Eating heaps" probably isn't the right way to
put it: you'll still want to avoid crappy food. My best advice for
bulking up involves adding peanutbutter to everything.

Disclaimer: the only person I've ever attempted to bulk up is currently
    6 years old.

  8. I would agree with Woofer on the meal number and that you should hit
the gym hard when you go. Focus on the big compound lifts: squat,
deadlift, bench and incline press, dips, pulldowns and pullups, and
rows. I would slightly disagree about the workout frequency. In my
experience limiting workouts to 3 or 4 intense one hour workouts a week
would help give your body time to grow in between workouts. Eating a
lot of healthy food and not letting your body feel hungry is important
    if you want to grow.
    Good Luck,
    James
