what kind of music do people prefer to hear in unicycling videos?
I'm making a relaly crappy video just to get used to making videos but i would like the music at least to be good.
something really catchy with an awesome beat that -goes with the video-. that can mean absolutely anything...rock, ska, punk, jazz, polka, all depends on your style of riding, and how you make the vid.

to give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift.
I like a techno/electronica beat, or maybe a jazzy instrumental, or perhaps some sort of a soothing, soft melody. I personally feel that you shouldn't have actual words in any type of sports video, because the music is there to underscore and slightly enhance the viewing experience of the sport, not to create an entirely new dimension or distract from you from the main content.
well i have made a video finaly and i think i have found a song that goes with what i did. tis a [censored] video but it was just to play with the software.
here is the video for those that are good with video software the help is quite welcome, although i will be posting it in another thread to get more attention.
Well, I really think it depends on the type of riding really. I personally prefer heavy music with stuff like trials and even for MUni, but for freestyle, something less heavy is usually better. Although, I have seen a couple pf good freestyle routines to heavy music. It just depends what in actually in the video.
i like something that fits. examples: sublime was used in a few muni vids that were in very mossy/green/lush forests. the new Koxx video used a Deftones song that had tons of screaming. both worked well. plus i almost always like whatever andrew carter puts in his vids.
I'm still waiting for someone to make a unicycle video using Dance of the Hours (featured in Disney's Fantasia, the bit where the hippos, ostriches, and alligators dance). It's classic, most people would recognize it, and would be great stuff.
i like to listen to punk as well, but it generally doesn't work in uni vids. although koxx-one have made some good vids with heavy music, i think that vids with ska or even reggae music are best 😄
Have you guys seen the koxx FISE 2005 video? That music totaly works!

you shold put in dance music or something upbeat. I'm not a fan of hardcore music in videos. Like the new Koxx video. Its the sweetest video ever but the music and death themes are a little too much, just my opinion

I second that.
