Different Foot Sizes

Have a similar problem but can get away with using thick socks. Only shows
up with Shoes as the padding on trainers has the same effect as the sock.

I remember when i was younger i allways left clarks with different sized
shoes and later on insoles to make up for the size difference.

If that doesn't help, actually contacting shoe/boot manufactuers may be
cheaper than buying 2 pairs all the time. (Something which along with
getting a proper shoe fitting done i haven't got round to doing.)

Most people with this problem aren't as
honest as your friend, they ask to try
on both sizes and then during the trying
on the pairs get mixed and matched.

They then take them off and say "I'll
take this pair", how many shop
assistants actually check that the pair
in box are really a pair? After all they
see what they're expecting to see, you
taking a pair off your feet and either
putting them straight in the box
yourself or handing them over for them
to put in the box.

Best done when the shop is busy.

I have the same situation and I buy the half size between the 2 whole
sizes. Thus, the shoe on my left foot is a half size large and the one
on my right is a half size short.

There used to be shoe exchange services when I was a child, but I don't
know about now.

I dont get why you are getting rid of the other set. You are taking one left
and one right, that leaves one right and one left. Keep them and use them
when the old ones have perished....

I dont get why you are getting rid of the other set. You are taking one
left
and one right, that leaves one right and one left. Keep them and use them
when the old ones have perished....

Err, possibly because they are both the wrong size? I would keep them and
advertise them on ebay. Someone will buy them. I must say I would try them
on in the shop and then see if the manufacturer would do a special order,
after all a sale is a sale.

Yes, I realised that now. My stupidity was noted further down. I am just a
feeble weak minded man as I get reminded on a daily basis at the moment.
