Thought I would post a report on the Badger Bike rack in case one is looking at options for a rack
to tote their recumbent around with. You can get the details at their web site - www.badgerrack.com.
Basically it is a modular system. You buy the mount and carrier as separate units based on how you
want to set it up. What I like about it is the recumbent carrier can be adjusted to fit recumbents
with various wheelbase lengths and the whole thing can be centered to your car. That way you don't
have a wheel or boom sticking way out to one side. I used it to cart my Vision 65 to a rally last
weekend and it worked very well. I can now take my TiRush to rallies by just readjusting the carrier
to fit the much longer wheelbase. The only thing I elected to do was have the carrier shortened a
little as it stuck out a little too far past the car when I have the Vision on it. The Vision has a
relative short wheelbase and a comparative long boom.
