White van man

  1. I was on my way to work yesterday at about 06:30-ish. This being the
    time of year it is, it was dark but the roads round here are pretty
    clear until about 07:30, so it's an ill wind and all that...

    Pulled up behind a white builder's van at some traffic lights. The
    Drivers door opens, the driver jumps out and trotted around the rear
    of the van towards me.

    I definitely didn't remember using sign language on anyone this
    morning - I very rarely do, being ancient and placid. OTOH, some
    people go mental if you just look at them crosseyed.

    Turned out ok: No vicious blow between the eyes was forthcoming.
    He just wanted to know where he could get a rear light like mine
    (LD600) because "You can see it from miles off". I told him, he
    thanked me, jumped back in his van and we went on our way.

    Unexpected!

    This happened to me last week.He turned out to have a peugot
    py10 same vintage, colour and all.
