Nah, think of it more as an light-hearted diversion tactic. a.b's been getting bit tense of late. Lighten up folks. 🙂

Lamadore - screw the trend in here - I love my car, its quick, gets me
places, and holds a bike or two in the boot... it also costs me much less
than my bike 'hobby'...

You wouldn't have wanted to be in our office today then. Full on blue about the proposed anti-hoon laws. Me and an SES officer cheering it on and other colleague arcing up saying `it's my property, they've no right to it.'
And the classic `cyclists run red lights' thing came up. That really set me off.

If you are careful enough in life, nothing bad -- or

Greetings,
I published some years back a pithy piece titled The Car Hater's
Dictionary. Perhaps not very original but fun to write. I think we're
all aware of the supposed inverse co-relation of size of vehicle and
penis size. A friend who owns an SUV (Stupendously Useless & Vacuous)
went very defensive when I queried his actual need for one, which is not
surprising. I will continue to attempt to be tolerant unless they do
something totally stupid or actively try to kill me, which has already
occurred on a number of occasions.
regards,
Ray.

The Celica GT4-lookalike (looked like a GT4, but was their 2wd [censored])
we used to call the "hairdresser's special"
That pretty-much applies to any factory low-spec but looks like
high-spec car - eg these days would be the big ford thingo (exploiter?)
that they made maybe 5 of as AWD, and thousands of 1wd copies.
And then, there's ricemobiles - eg Excels with wankerwings and such.
loaded with examples!
